Belgrade, the capital and the “soul” of modern Serbia, is situated at the confluence of the Sava and the Danube. It is an ancient town (it’s existence of 20 centuries make it one of the oldest European cities).
In 2006. the Financial Times of London awarded Belgrade the title of City of the Future of Southern Europe and it hosted City Break Exhibition in 2008. Belgrade is a city of theatres, cinemas, concerts, any restaurants, clubs and bars, dusk view on beautiful streets and buildings, and magical transformation in Belgrade by Night.
Belgrade has a reputation for offering a vibrant nightlife, and many clubs which are open until dawn can be found throughout the city (The White City was named to have one of the best night lives in Europe by many american newspapers).
And above all, the Serbs are very warm and friendly people, especially towards tourists, so it wont be difficult to find yourself liking this city at first sight.
